Founded in 2001, our mission has always been simple: provide superior, mature landscape stock—grown with care and delivered with integrity—to homeowners, contractors, and developers across the Southeast.
From signature specimen Crape Myrtles to mature privacy hedges, estate-size shade trees, and hardy southern favorites, everything we grow is hand-selected, thoughtfully shaped, and proven to thrive in Southern soil and climate.

Meet the Grower Behind the Trees
John Estill is an accomplished wholesale nursery grower and landscaper with more than two decades of experience in the green industry. Since 2003, he has built Carolina Crepe Myrtle & Shade Tree LLC into a successful wholesale nursery serving customers throughout the United States.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, John specializes in growing and shipping more than 150 varieties of specimen trees and shrubs. His work is driven by a commitment to producing superior-quality plants at affordable prices, along with a passion for helping customers bring their landscapes to life.
When he is not working at the nursery, John enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family. His appreciation for nature and dedication to quality continue to guide both his business and his approach to growing.

With a background spanning landscape construction, consultative sales, business development, entrepreneurship, and military service, Chris brings discipline, practical problem-solving, and a strong commitment to customer service to every project. His experience includes mature tree installation, ornamental plantings, grading, drainage, irrigation, sod, hardscapes, and outdoor-living improvements.
Chris is passionate about connecting clients with the right trees, plants, and landscaping solutions for their properties. His relationship-focused approach helps customers make the most of the nursery and landscaping farm’s expertise while creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed for years to come.
